MOTHERHOOD

If I can be honest then motherhood is a fine line between peace and insanity. You are happy most of the time but there are hard times when you cry and scream. So many of my friends ask, how motherhood truly is. And my usual answer is that motherhood is a lifelong journey. You won't always get it right, but when you do, you deserve to pat yourself on the back. No one can understand this little human quite like you can. They need you just as much as you need that time for yourself but then you realize that you need them just as much too . It's a journey that brings you self-awareness and it's also a journey that humbles you down. Being a mom isn't a trophy/course certificate you show when you want credit, being a mom means there will be so many things that'll you do which will eventually go unnoticed. You make the hard choices to protect your little ones and you do not apologize for it because one day they will thank you.

You will have those hard days that make you feel like you can't make it to another day. You have to get through those because 9 times out of 10 that day happens once every week, and just as you got through , you will get through it again. Sometimes it's not the most easiest job but it's the most rewarding job. Being a mother isn't like a 'Superman'.
You aren't a mom and then boom you're blessed with an unlimited energy and strength. Being a mom is being more like a 'Wonder Woman' who makes her way to fight those cries, tantrums, messiness and dirty diapers that transform into many other things as they grow.
The world needs more mothers who care when others don't. Don't ever think you won't be a good mother because 9 times out of 10, you're just underestimating yourself.
